Description: This deck is a flashcard deck using quarter notes and quarter rests. This deck has a dynamic marking of forte or piano on each card. The first 7 cards are 4 beats long with one dynamic marking per rhythm and the last 5 cards are 2 measures, or 8 beats long. Some of the 2 measure rhythms have a different dynamic marking for each measure. A cute Valentine monster image is on each card to make this fun for February! There's no audio for this deck so use any way of saying/counting- you can use as flashcards, assessment, play with rhythm instruments, etc.
