Description
This activity comes with 10 picture scenes with 2 characters in each scene. Encourage the child to direct your actions by saying what each character "NEEDS" to get ready for an adventure. You can expand to a 2-3 word phrase (e.g. "HE NEEDS" or "HE NEEDS SUNSCREEN"). Drag the props onto the characters to dress them up! BONUS IDEAS: - Target gender pronouns (e.g. "She needs her sunglasses") - Use the symbols as a subtle prompt if the child is stuck - Create a story around the scene - Ask follow-up questions (e.g. "What did he need?") - Shift into a following directions activity (e.g "The girl needs her hat!")
