Description: Help your beginning French students practice the rules for negation with this fun deck! Students will review the rules for how to use the negative expression ne..pas (8 cards). Then, students will practice with scaffolded activities that increase in difficulty. First, students will classify sentences as affirmative or negative (1 card). Then, students will identify the verb in French and English sentences (5 cards). Next, students will drag and drop the correct expression to complete the sentence; ne, n' or pas (8 cards). Finally, students will drag and drop words in the correct order to build a French sentence (5 cards). This deck of 30 cards is meant to be played sequentially and has not been randomized.
