Description: This is a drag and drop tens and ones activity from 10 to 49. In this game students build two-digit numbers so that they understand how numbers are written placing the tens blocks in the correct place value columns that represent the number shown. Students look at each number on the card and then build the number by dragging the correct number of base tens blocks onto the tens and ones grid. *If you want to hear the number, just tap/click it. Click or tap the ‘Submit’ button to check answers. If you are correct, you will hear a bell sound, and the deck will advance to the next card. If you are incorrect, you will hear a ‘whoops’ sound and the deck will prompt you to self-correct. The deck is randomized. So, each time the deck is played the cards will be in a different order. Optional: When you assign the cards to your students, you can hide cards you do not want your students to work on. The benefits of this game are: • Practice and apply knowledge of place value using base ten blocks • To understand place value and build two-digit numbers • Students can work Independently • Easily self-correct Enjoy!:)
