Description: These Boom Cards™ will help your students with addition in this 32 card deck. Students will solve each equation. Equations include addition to 30. You may want students to use manipulatives that you have in your classroom or at home to help them solve the equations or use scratch paper to solve some of the equations. Six slides include addition to10. Eleven slides include addition to 20, and fifteen slides include addition to 30. If students are not ready for addition to 30, you can hide the cards that students are not ready for or assign different groups of students different sets of cards by hiding the cards that are too difficult for each group of students. There is only one equation per card. The cards in this deck are randomized so that the equations are in a different order each time they play this deck. Students will choose from four multiple choice number answers by selecting the correct answer to solve each equation. A different dinosaur image is on each card. Correct answers are rewarded with a bell sound which automatically advances students to the next card. Incorrect answers hear “whoops” and students must keep trying until the correct answer is chosen. There are 32 cards in this deck of self-checking cards.
