Description: Follow Directions, with 55+ slides. This cute wintery Boom Deck is a fun way for students to practice following directions of increasing complexity. Each slide has the recorded direction that plays with the click of a button, or the written direction which is revealed when you slide off the box covering it. This gives the therapist or teacher the option of providing verbal directions, written cues, or both. The directions are presented in the following hierarchy: *One step simple-e.g. "Get a door". *Two step- e.g. "Get a window and find a candy cane". *Two step with embedded concepts: location, number, color; e.g. "Find the red door and get all of the mint candies." *Sequential directions-e.g. "Before you get the chimney, put snow on the roof." *Conditional directions- e.g. "If the door is green, add two mints." Choose your level from the menu. There are 10 slides at each level, plus a "free play" slide for positive reinforcement. Free play slides also have a fun winter animal sound, like a wolf and polar bear. This activity is created for individual or small group therapy, or homework. Students will need adult feedback for accuracy, as this is not an independent activity.
