Description: Staying on topic and responding in a conversation helps to build pragmatic language skills. The following Boom Cards™ provide students a chance to read a conversation starter and choose a question to ask to stay on topic and keep the conversation going. Students are presented with a character who is making a comment and 4 possible questions that could be asked. Students click on the question they think is on topic and will keep the conversation going. If correct the question will circle with green. If wrong it will circle/cross out with red and give the student another chance to answer until they find the correct response.
