Description: Students are presented with a snowman community helpers a winter house, a winter tree with snow and an igloo. Students are asked "where" questions such as "where is the firefighter" and provided with a sentence starter containing 3 empty spaces to help students expand their utterances as they answer the where questions. For example, students are presented with the sentence starter (the ___ is ___ the ___). Students are given 2 visual choices per blank box to help them drag and drop the correct item into the correct place of the sentence starter. Students are able to form sentences such as "the builder is on top of the house" or "the teacher is under the tree." This helps students work on spatial concepts as well.
