Description: Summer Sequencing ! Sequencing, re-tell, and summarizing are difficult skills for many students. This resource allows you to target comprehension of sentences and visual order/ sequencing, developing vocabulary, re-telling the steps of a summer concept, and verbal/ written sequencing. Target understanding of visual sequences by putting the entire SUMMER sequence in order and matching provided sentences to pictures in the sequence. Target expressive language skills by having students describe each picture in the sequence in writing and/or verbally. Expand language skills further by practicing sequential terms such as (first, next, and last) to re-tell the story/ sequence. The deck has a variety of SUMMER sequences , as well as levels of difficulty to branch and/or scaffold for individual student's needs. Students will work their way up to retelling a 4-step SUMMER sequences verbally / writing. 5 sequences : Building a Sand Castle, Flying A Kite, Diving into the Pool, Eating A Popsicle, Melting Ice Cream Cone. 3 Levels of Difficulty: * Visually Sequence the Pictures (Put the Entire Sequence in Order) * Match the Sentence to the Picture * Type Sentences to Tell the Story
