Valentine's Day First Grade Math Review

Description: This is a cute Valentine's Day review meant for first grade, but may work for advanced Kindergarteners or struggling second graders. Students are directed to help the lovebug figure out a message from his lovebug where to find his Valentine's Day gift. (Look in your heart is the answer). All of the directions and questions have the ability to be read to the student. Each correct answer will reveal a letter at the bottom from the hearts. Certain skills used include: comparing two digit numbers, identifying the digit in the tens and ones place, telling time to the hour and half hour, counting groups of coins (nickels with pennies and dimes with pennies), adding and subtracting up to 2 two digit numbers, measuring to the nearest inch, and addition and subtraction word problems.
