Description: Have fun practicing recognition and generation of rhyming words with this timeless game. There are 96 pairs of rhyming words included. Directions: Decide who will take the blue card and who will take red. Take turns moving the shapes to the orange discard box. The images underneath the shapes have text that names the word. The images on the BINGO cards do not. This is intentional so that the student will rely on listening to each word to determine if they rhyme (not using the text as a visual match). Each player moves a token corresponding with their color to the board. The words behind the shapes are randomized, so each time you play, it's a new game. Decide ahead of time what configuration wins (ex. 4 corners, diagonals, or simply 4 in a row). **Note: The words on the cards were carefully chosen and selected because they were most likely to be clear to the child. For example, with the rhyming pair "big" and "pig," the word "big" appears with text supports, and "pig" appears as the word that rhymes with it because the child is more likely to know what the picture conveys. There may be times, however, when the child requires adult support to identify what the pictures on the BINGO cards are. Each card has a button on the bottom right which will take you to the menu where you can select the game of your choice.
