Description: Hoppy Easter! In these rabbit shape match Boom Cards, students will match different 2-dimensional shapes by dragging a shape carrot to a shape rabbit. Students will be encouraged to look at the different attributes of these shapes to match the shape of the rabbit's head with the shape of the carrot. Students will drag the carrot to the rabbit, and press the blue check to check their answer. Students will receive immediate feedback if they have chosen the matching shape. If not, the Boom Cards will tell students to try again until they have made the correct choice. The 2-dimensional shapes that students will practice matching in these Boom Cards are: - hexagon, - diamond (rhombus) - circle - octagon - oval - rectangle - pentagon - parallelogram - semi-circle - square - triangle - trapezoid - star -heart Students will not need to know all of these shape names. They will simply match one shape with the other. This is a great introduction to looking at shapes to match what is the same, and look at what is different; a great beginning to focus on different shape attributes. This deck of Boom Cards comes with 14 cards. Each of the cards in this deck has written and audio directions at the top. Each of these shape matching Boom Cards follows the same format. Students should be able to complete these Boom Cards independently.
