Practice articulation and single speech sounds with this digital Halloween activity through Boom Cards™. Build-a-Witch while producing lots of repetitions of your target sounds in word initial, medial and final position! This deck is designed to be used in speech therapy sessions or sent home with families to practice their target sounds at home! This is a digital resource and requires an internet connection to play. What's Included: The deck consists of 66 cards and targets single speech sounds with 21 different sounds across word initial, medial and final positions. A total of 60 witches to make! Sounds included: - Stops ('p', 'b', 't', 'd', 'k' and 'g') - Fricatives ('f', 'v', 's', 'z', 'sh', 'th' and 'h') - Glides ('w' and 'y') - Liquids ('l' and 'r') - Nasals ('m' and 'n') All sounds in initial, medial and final position (if applicable). One sound/one position on each card (e.g. make one witch for word initial 'p', make another witch for word medial 'p'). As well as targeting speech sounds, Build-A-Witch can also be used to work on language skills: - Describe each witch as you build them - Check a child's vocab with the articulation target words - Talk about what is similar and different - Learn basic concepts Dressing up the witch is great fun for kids of all ages and will keep them engaged in therapy or practice sessions so you can get a large number of repetitions in!
