Description: Enjoy these creative writing prompts for your students this holiday season. Just because the world looks a little different this year, doesn't mean we can't have fun by using our imaginations! I love to elicit language using creative writing prompts because my students can develop fun stories and use all kinds of language. Even younger kiddos who aren't writing yet can talk about these topics. Target syntax by having students create sentences (e.g. "If all the Christmas trees were gone, we could..." Let them problem solve while discussing topics, work on writing goals, and laugh about silly ideas!
