Description: This 3 digit addition with and without regrouping activity will strengthen your students addition skills. They will add 3-digit numbers by showing their work/proof directly on the Boom Cards by using the DRAW feature. Students will then click on their answer to self-check if they answered the questions correctly. There are 40 3-digit addition questions in total. 10 addition questions with no regrouping 10 addition questions with regrouping in the tens place 10 addition questions with regrouping in the hundreds place 10 questions with regrouping in the tens and hundreds place Teachers can scaffold activity by level of difficulty beginning with addition questions with no regrouping to regrouping in 2 places. The Boom Cards have been set to randomize the questions but teachers can turn it off so questions are presented in sequential order from no regrouping to higher levels of regrouping. Teachers can also hide cards to scaffold the activity to meet the learning needs of their students.
