Description: In this fun, valentine's themed activity, student learn about and practice using common subordinating conjunctions: Until, Before, After and While. This is great for student who struggle with using complex sentence structures. This activity includes 4 activities: 1) Description and Examples 2) Fill in the Blank (students are provided with a sentence and are asked to identify the correct conjunction to describe a picture). 3) Complete the Sentence (Students are provided with a sentence starter and are asked to choose the correct sentence ending to describe a picture). 4) Describe the Picture (students are provided with a picture and asked to generate a sentence with the targeted conjunction).
