Students are presented with size items (e.g. big/small). Students are asked the WH question "What do you see?" Students are given a 2-blank spaces labeled (size) and (noun). Students are presented with 2 visual choices of basic concepts (e.g. big/small) to fill in the first blank space. Students are given 2 visual choices to select the noun (e.g. bear/mouse) to fill in the second blank space. This helps students form 2-word phrases such as "small mouse" or "big bus," etc. This helps students receptively and expressively build their knowledge of basic concepts while expanding their utterances! The following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - Basic Concepts - Describing (e.g. Attributes/Adjectives, Categories, Function). - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU - Identifying common objects
