Description: These Drag and Drop Boom cards are meant for older students and go beyond simply counting coins. Students are challenged to find the correct combination of coins to make a given amount of money. Students will reinforce their change counting skills while using their logic skills and number sense. For each card, students drag and drop the correct number of coins onto the blue mat. Then they record how many of each coin they used. Please note that the blue mat area is a workspace only - it is not self-checking. The 4 boxes where they record the number of each coin they used is the self-checking part, so it is essential that they fill that part in. If no coins of a particular type are used, the student needs to enter a 0 into that answer box.
