Building A Sentence Train: Expanding Utterances & What Questions with Animated Everyday Verbs (GIFS)

Description: Students are presented with animated everyday verb images (GIFs). Students are asked "WH" Questions such as "What is he/she doing?" Students are presented with a sentence starter (e.g. he/she is ____) on the train conductor car. After, students are presented with another train car containing the question "doing what." Students are asked to drag and drop the correct verb into the empty box on the train car. Students are given 2 choices of verbs to put into the second blank box. This helps students formulate sentences such as "she is brushing teeth" or "he is showering." This helps students form sentences using the following sentence structured: pronoun + verb (subject + doing what).
