Use these Root word cards to practice the meanings of different root words. Students read a sentence containing an underlined word. They need to choose the meaning of the root word of the underlined word. When using these decks one-on-one, you could further the learning by asking your students if they can think of another word that uses the given root word, or if they can use the underlined word in their own sentence.
