Description: This Halloween themed Haunted House deck covers /f/ articulation in the initial, medial, and final positions of words. There are 9 words per sound position. Students will construct a haunted house by clicking/dragging building elements on each page (e.g., building base, spooky door frames; windows with various Halloween creatures, etc.). As students manipulate the haunted house elements, they will practice their /f/ sound by labeling the target images depicted on each slide. Once the haunted house is completed, students will use the map to navigate the building. There are 9 scenes designated for articulation activities. These can be found on page 1 of the map. In each of these scenes, students will search for hidden target articulation (/f/) images that will be dragged to a specific location on the slide. There are 3 scenes designated for open ended play. These can be found on page 2 of the map. Drag each of the items in the left column onto the background to create a scene. The haunted house rooms included are: pumpkin carving room, stairway, bedroom, living room, foyer, dining room, candy kitchen, bathroom, and basement. The open-ended scenes included are: around town, haunted graveyard, and neighbor's house. Each room contains a variety of spooky creatures. A vocabulary board is included in this product to help familiarize students with Halloween characters.
