Description: This is a 33-card scavenger hunt that can will teach students interesting facts about bats. In this hunt, students will learn about many different kinds of bats there are, their habits, ways they are beneficial, myths about them, and more. To complete the hunt, students are presented with 16 multiple-choice questions. Then they read the information that will help them answer the questions. If they choose the correct answer, they are directed to the next question. If their answer is incorrect, they can reread the text to find the correct answer. The final card in the hunt requires students to write 3 interesting things they learned in the hunt. It can be used as a Halloween activity, as a supplement to a study of mammals, to enhance the understanding of a story, or practice for reading informational text.
