Description
Your students will love sliding the flaps to look for Emmy and Luke’s clothes in the laundry basket. This book targets functional vocabulary, MLU, yes/no questions, and more! It has three interactive elements to keep your students engaged! (slide-able flaps, moveable picture symbols, and moveable dress up pieces). Read the book to the student. At the top of each page, The student is asked if the clothing item under the laundry basket is either Luke’s or Emmy’s (the questions rotate between Emmy and Luke). The student is then prompted to slide the basket and look.They will then answer yes/no (verbally or by pointing to the symbol). The student then will match the picture symbols (by dragging it) to the box in the phrase and verbalize the phrase (“I found a _____”). At the end of the book they will get to dress both students.
