Description: Grammar is an important aspect of language as it adds to the complexity of your child’s sentences. Without grammar sentences are short and often difficult to understand. Sometimes in the English language the rules do not apply. This is common for plurals (“s” to the end of the words to indicate more than one) and past tense (“ed” to the end of the words to indicate it happened in the past). Your child will add the “ed” and “s” initially to these words but will eventually learn that this is not the case and the words change completely. Here are some examples; by all means this is not an exclusive list.
