Description: An informal pragmatic assessment screening of perspective taking skills for middle & high school students. Examines both receptive and expressive components of perspective taking. Includes: Directions, Section 1: Receptive Portion-student identifies feelings, thoughts and actions (think-say-do) when given social scenarios and accompanying photograph. Students click on accurate response. Section 2: Expressive Portion-student given social scenario and photographs and then types how the person/people felt, thought and what they did (feel-think-do) in response to the situation. Section 3: Expressive-Multiple Perspectives on Same Situation. Students given social scenario and type feelings, thoughts and actions of 3 perspectives on the situation. There is a free response form to download that accompanies this screener in the printee section of my store. The printee provides templates for progress notes and report writing. This product can be used as part of an evaluation, to screen for suspected perspective-taking difficulties and to measure progress over time. Supports for diverse learners include: audio directions, home page, arrows for navigation, content-relevant images.
