Description: Working on verbs like am, is, and are? This deck will help students to recognize the pronouns that "match" the verb. The first 8 cards in this deck allow students to put together a puzzle matching pronouns and the verbs. Half of these are color coded (as color helps with learning), while the other half are black and white to increase independence with deciding which verbs go with which pronouns. The last 9 cards are "free response" cards. Prompts are written at the top of each card to encourage students to make a sentence using the pronoun written (e.g., Make a sentence about something that is the same with you AND someone else. Use the word "we"). Responses can be typed or verbal depending on the skills you are targeting with your student. Some of the cards have pictures stimuli to elicit sentences using a variety of the pronouns reviewed in this deck (e.g., he, she, I, we, they, you).
