Description: The goal of this activity is to learn to read the season words (season, winter, spring, fall, summer) and practice the month words. The student will associate each month to its corresponding season. First, the student will type the word “season”. Second, the student will type the word “winter” and recognize this word (3 slides). Third, the student will identify the correct season when pictures of landscapes or winter activities are shown for January and February (4 slides). This pattern will repeat for the rest of the seasons and each month of the year. Beautiful and vibrant real-world pictures are used throughout the activity to retain the student’s attention.
