Description: Directions/Purpose: This activity addresses use of copula and auxiliary forms of the verb "to be" (is and are). Use this activity to assess use and/or to teach usage. Pictures are presented in singular/plural contrast. The student dictates the correct verb form to complete the sentence (is/are).  The student or adult (whichever is developmentally appropriate) types the correct responses in the boxes.
