Description: This is the SECOND deck in Lisneyland's prepositions program, as it includes position words that tend to be learned a little later in development (in front, behind, between, above, and below. (Note: Lisneyland's first prepositions deck is formatted in the same way, and includes the prepositions in, on, under, and next to). This second prepositions deck includes a story, simple receptive practice cards, and advanced practice cards. Three decks in one! First, it includes a story that defines each position word. The story includes several practice cards that use the preposition in a sentence, followed by choral responding, in which the learner can practice saying the simple sentence out loud such as, "The chicken is in front of the horse," with the speaker. The deck also includes a set of practice cards in which the learner chooses the correct preposition when given a choice between two cards. For example, the learner might be asked to "Find the sun behind the cloud." Finally, the learner is presented with a picture and asked to find the item described in a sentence.
