Description: Beginner French students will read one long dialogue which is broken into 6 small conversations. After each short conversation, there are 3-5 reading comprehension questions about that particular dialogue. The questions include vrai/faux, multiple choice, write short answer. Students can link back to the conversation as much as they'd like as they answer questions. There is no audio option. The last card verifies with the student that s/he completed all SIX conversations before clicking, "Oui, j'ai fini!" This is a great reading resource to accompany food, cafe and restaurant units! And, don't forget, there's NO grading! You could ask students to complete this individually for practice or self-assessment. Then, it could be really beneficial to go back through the written text and discuss the answers as a class. When students can explain their answers, they move from knowledge of the text to analyzing and synthesizing the text. Growth and learning!! Do you have suggestions for other decks like this?
