Description: Are you looking for a fun and interactive activity to practice missing numbers? This missing subtrahend is a perfect math activity for practicing subtraction. It includes 3 different activities, each with audio for the directions. In activity one, students can drag cookies from one cookie jar to another to find the missing subtrahend. I have set the activity so students can drag subtrahend amount or the difference to find the answer (the number they drag will not affect their answer- it is just adding a manipulative to help them find the answer). In activity two, student can drag X's to help them find the missing subtrahend. As in activity one, I have set the number of X's they drag to not be tied to getting it correct or not (so they could choose to drag the number shown as the difference to find the missing subtrahend). Students will click on the correct number to answer. In the final activity, I have included a number line for students to use to find the missing subtrahend. They will click on the correct number to answer. The minuend is also pictured for them to count. Your students will enjoy moving objects in this engaging activity!
