Description: This is an interactive pet store activity that contains animated pet store animal verbs (GIFS). Students are presented with animated pet verbs (GIFS). Students are able to answer WH questions to build requesting skills while increasing MLU. Students are able to form sentences using the core word NEED. Students are asked to drag and drop the correct verb into the visual sentence starter (e.g. the dog needs to _____) at the bottom of each page to increase MLU. This activity is extremely engaging and motivated as it contains animated pet store animals (GIFS)! This activity contains the following: - 11 different pet animals (e.g. dog, cat, turtle, snake, hamster, rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, mouse, fish, parrot & bird) - A variety of different verbs (e.g. eating, jumping, licking, running, walking, swimming, talking, flying, hitting) - Multiple repetitions of using the core word NEED in sentences Some of the following IEP Goals can be targeted during this activity - WH Questions - Labeling Animals - Labeling Verbs - Core Word NEED - Pragmatics (e.g. requesting) - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU - Describing (e.g. color, attributes, category, functions, etc.)
