Description: Are your students having difficulty rounding? Support them with this fairy tale rounding activity! Students will find the value they are rounding to (Cinderella), the Fairy God Mother (next door to the right). The Fairy God Mother decides if Cinderella transforms and goes to the ball (5 or more, up the score, 4 or less, let it rest!). Numbers in front are the "guests" who stay the same no matter what. Numbers behind Cinderella (including the Fairy God Mother) become pumpkins. Students read the story first, then practice with fill in the blank rounding. Optional drag and drop activity with Cinderella, pumpkins, fairy god mother, and party guests.
