Description
This is my second level of counting on with tens frames. This level focuses on counting on to 20. The counting on strategy is a first step for students in using mental math. In counting on, students move up from counting all because they have to retain a number in their heads and then continue counting by ones from that number. This strategy is an excellent and effective beginning addition strategy. There are 41 cards for students to work on. Students are given 20 cards at atime.
