Description
This social-emotional deck goes through a day with a monster called Lil'Blue. Lil' Blue is faced with a series of challenging situations and ends up carrying a lot of heavy feelings such as being angry, sad, disappointed, embarrassed and scared. The student interacts with the deck and places these feelings on Lil' Blue. At some point when it is all too heavy for him to carry, Lil' Blue begins to change his situation by breathing exercises, helping others, positive thinking, drawing and talking with a friend. The student then removes the negative feelings one by one. Ideally, this deck is led by a teacher to encourage discussion as Lil' Blue walks along his journey.
