Description: Vocabulary - Parts of Items. In this activity, students will learn parts of  several familiar items - a shoe, a house, a door, a chair, a hand, an elephant, a flower, a face, legs, a bicycle, a fish, a book, a plane, and a shirt. Students will be given three words which are parts of a pictured item.  Students are asked to identify the item based on its parts (from a choice of three). Many new vocabulary terms to learn!  Students are provided with an illustration for each term used. shoe - tongue, sole, heel house - porch, balcony, gutters door - frame, hinge, knob chair - arms, legs, seat hand - pinky, palm, thumb elephant - trunk, ears, tusks flower - petal, leaf, stem face - eyelashes, forehead, eyebrow leg - thigh, shin, calf bicycle - handlebars, wheels, petals fish - gills, fin, tail book - title, author, cover plane - wings, fuselage, engine shirt - collar, sleeve, pocket
