Description: This deck is perfect for teaching spatial concepts and contains an expressive and a receptive component. It targets the following concepts: Above/Below, Under/Over, Between/Next To, and In Front/Behind. In the expressive section, the students state spatial concepts by describing where the leprechaun is in each picture. This section is meant to be completed verbally with the educator. In the receptive section, the students identify spatial concepts given a choice of two pictures. These cards were created by a Speech Language Pathologist with thoughtfulness and a passion for making learning fun, ensuring the blend of educational value with delightful aesthetics. This deck addresses the following Common Core Standards: L.K.1e: Use the most frequently occurring prepositions (e.g., to, from, in, out, on, off, for, of, by, with). L.K.5c: Identify real-life connections between words and their use (e.g., note places at school that are colorful).
