Description: This program covers the basics of what we can do to keep our bodies clean and healthy. It was created for children aged 9-11 years of age with an ASD diagnosis and excellent literacy skills. It does not cover adolescent hygiene, which would involve deodorant, shaving etc.. It was designed to start up a conversation with clients struggling to see the importance of daily hygiene routines. This program should be used with individualised social stories, daily planners and reward programs to bring about a change in thinking and behaviour.
