Description: Two types of practice using plural spelling rules for nouns ending in O. Includes standard "s" and "es" rules with explanation. Practice types are evenly split between multiple choice and type in answers. There are 30 playable cards. I normally have students create an anchor chart of the spelling rules to reference (see card 2). Note that the first four cards should be sequential for reference and modeling, then the remaining cards are defaulted to random. Perfect for quick practice of spelling rules, DOL or prep for writing or editing tests.
