About me: With over 10+ years of early childhood education experience, Emily is an expert at differentiation to reach a variety of levels of learners. Every resource created at The Mountain Teacher is designed to be cute and fun, but also a functional elementary resource that has a high focus on hitting the academic standards. You can find lessons in math, reading, writing and every other core subject for kids and students in preschool, kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and 3rd grade. Emily's Career: Emily taught 1st grade for 3 years, 2nd grade for 5 years, and has experiences working directly with kindergarten, 3rd grade, and preschool students in one-on-one, whole group and small group intervention settings. Credentials: Emily has a Masters in Education for Teaching K-12 Mathematics, a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (K-3) with a 4th and 5th grade endorsement, a TELL certificate for teaching English Language Learners and a minor in both Special Education and Child Studies.
