About me: <p>Stacy Crouse is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Auditory-Verbal Therapist residing with her husband and two children outside Des Moines, Iowa.</p> <p>Stacy received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders (with a minor in Spanish) from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO in 2006. She earned a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO in 2008. </p> <p>For nearly a decade, Stacy worked in a pediatric outpatient therapy clinic providing articulation, language, feeding, and social language therapy to children aged birth to 21 years with a variety of diagnoses. In 2014, she began dabbling in telepractice before fully transitioning to school-based teletherapy in 2017.</p> <p>In that same year, Stacy met the requirements to become a certified Listening and Spoken Language Specialist. She also started creating and blogging about digital speech therapy materials.</p> <p>Stacy is passionate about using technology as a clinical tool in speech therapy as well as supporting children with hearing loss who utilize cochlear implants and/or hearing aids.</p>
