About me: <p>David Sindrey was trained as a Speech-Language Pathologist and has worked as a certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist for the past 25 years. David is an internationally renowned speaker with over 140 presentations to date across the US, Canada, and South and Central America. He worked living in Mexico from 2009 until 2015 at the clinic he and his wife Sandra Medina operated, Oigo Clínica de Enseñanza of Querétaro. Mr. Sindrey has also worked for the Mexican Department of Health at the launch of their universal infant screening program, training therapists from each of the 32 Mexican states. David has published numerous workbooks and resources to help children of all ages learn to listen. He is both the author and illustrator of the material he produces. Some of those include Listening Games for Littles (1997, 2002) and the Cochlear Implant Auditory Training Guide (2004). Mr. Sindrey has also developed several online resources including the the ListeningRoom at Advanced Bionics, Speechtree, Listeningtree, and Actividades de Audición for Programa Infantil Phonak in Spain. His listening activities have been translated into Dutch, German, Spanish, and French. Since 2012 he has designed and illustrated 7 apps on iTunes that help develop and/or assess listening skills for children with hearing loss. Mr. Sindrey is currently a lecturer in the department of Speech-Language Pathology at Western University in London  Ontario Canada where he lives with his family.   All images created by David Sindrey.</p>
