About me: <p>We love helping elementary teachers implement fun, engaging literacy instruction! Learning At The Primary Pond has been led by Alison Ryan, M.Ed., since 2012. Alison is a literacy specialist who has been working in education since 2005 in a variety of Kindergarten through 5th grade roles like classroom teacher, reading specialist, and Director of Curriculum and Instruction. She has a master's degree in Literacy Leadership, is ESL endorsed, and is CERI certified in Structured Literacy. Alison is also the author of the book The Phonics Playbook.</p>
