About me: I’m an elementary classroom teacher, curriculum creator, and STEAM specialist with over 20 years of experience teaching in public schools. I’ve taught Kindergarten through fifth grade students and am licenced to teach Kindergarten through eighth grade in the state of Nevada. On Boom Learning, I design hands-on, cross-curricular lessons that build curiosity, creativity, and core skills. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, a Professional Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master's Degree in Technology in Education. I have also taken a variety of continuing education courses in a wide range of curricular topics. Since 2013 I’ve created teacher-tested resources to save you time and boost student learning. My materials are standards-aligned, scaffolded from guided practice to independence, and available in both digital Boom cards and printable formats. You’ll find phonics and decoding practice, number sense routines, grammar and writing supports, low-prep STEAM challenges, and quick assessments with progress-monitoring tools. I design with classroom realities in mind: minimal prep, clear learning targets, differentiation options, and targeted skills. I value teacher feedback and regularly update materials based on classroom use. My targeted decks focus on elementary ELA and mathematics standards with focus on specific skills.
