Description: Get students to practice adding details to sentences with this resource. Students will practice adding adjectives, adverbs, and prepositional phrases to make their writing more engaging and interesting. What is Included: This resource includes two practice pages where the extra details are already chosen for the student. Students will trace the sentences to practice adding details. Also included are word cards for students to have ideas to create their own sentences. Blank writing pages are provided for students to write their sentences. When to Use: This activity can make a great literacy center or morning work activity. The tracing pages can also be sent home to be used as homework. Skills Assessed: Students will practice adding details to their sentences by adding descriptive language.
