Description: This 20-card deck is a great way to help your geometry students practice finding scale factors and identify features of similar shapes. Students identify similar shapes, answer questions about proportional sides and congruent angles of similar shapes, and determine the scale factor given lengths of similar shapes. **It has come to my attention that not all textbooks define scale factors in the same way. The scale factors in this deck are the reciprocals of the scale factors in my original scale factors set of Boom Cards. For example, if triangle B is 3 times larger than triangle A, the scale factor of triangle A to triangle B is 3. I have a similar deck that uses the alternate definition of scale factors (in the above example the scale factor would be 1/3).
