Description: Conjunctions are terrific when building sentences both verbally and in writing. However, many of my students struggle to use these conjunctions effectively and correctly. They have been assigned this individually or as a group. Great practice set. They even engage in terrific conversations as to which one fits better and why. This was a base line assessment I used to determine where my students were. Maybe you can do the same. Have the students discuss in groups as a follow up lesson. Many different uses.
