Description: The focus of this activity is to practice words from the AN, IN and UN word families in sentences. The words included for each word family are: AN family- can, fan, man, ran, van, pan. IN family- pin, fin, win, chin, thin, grin, skin. UN family- sun, run, fun, bun, gun. First, the student will choose the first letter to complete the word with the aid of pictures. Two different pictures are shown for each word (18 slides). Second, the student will choose the correct word from a list of 8 words to complete a sentence. Two sentences are shown for each word and different pictures are used in each example (23 slides).
