Description: These cards provide beginning readers with practice spelling words with beginning consonant blends. In this deck, students will click the picture to hear the word. Then, they will drag the letters to spell the word. These are set up like "sound boxes" where each box represents one sound (not necessarily just one letter). Important note: Since I use a systematic approach to teaching phonics, this deck only uses words with short vowels. To complete this deck, students should be able to read CVC words and should know the digraphs sh, th, and ch.
