Description: Compound words are fun to teach, and kids are fascinated by them. Making new words is so much fun. I use compound words early in my phonemic awareness therapy. They are a great way to build beginning segmentation and blending skills. This pack works on blending skills. It takes two words to produce one compound word. Students practice blending parts of words together to produce a new word.
